Musician, Composer and Producer Megan Cavallari is lending her work and talent to a brand new animated feature coming to PBS this year called “Jacob Marley.” Cavallari will write the sound track, scores and songs for the feature film with animator and visual effects director Russ Francis
The animated film will go through the Charles Dicken’s classic “A Christmas Carol” from the eyes of the deceased partner to Ebeneezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley.
Cavallari is a true artist at heart; balancing her family with her passion to create something the world will enjoy. Her work isn’t limited to just film, incredibly her work has been seen in operas, television and musicals.
One of her best known works is an opera, produced by Jonathan McHugh, “The Righteous One: The Irena Sandler Story,” about a WWII hero who saved 2500 children in the Warsaw Ghetto, and her ongoing collaboration with Grammy-nominated pop producer Eric Robinson.
Cavallari is among the 1% in her field. She’s in the 1% because in her the line of work, only 1% of the field is composed of females.
Outside of writing and producing music, Cavallari takes care of her 11 year old daughter who suffers from juvenile arthritis, she is an avid hockey player (she regularly plays left wing in a men’s league), and she’s a philanthropist who spends time on her non-profit organization the “Talk Foundation Project”, where she records the thoughts and observations of terminally ill children.
