Taylor Castro wrote the song with Willy Perez-Feria for the motion picture GIRLFRIEND KILLER, which premiered in A&E Networks, LMN & Lifetime. The song represents every combination of relationships within the movie.
HOW THE VIDEO REFLECTS THE STORY OF THE SONG as per Taylor Castro:
“The video is a day in the life of two people. It is seen through one person’s point of view, however. I wanted that to show the relationship between two connected people. One cannot exist without the other. If the person whose point of view we’re seeing was not watching, then there would be no video. If the person in front of the screen were gone, then there would be no subject. One cannot exist without the other. That is what the song is all about you. The words “I got you” can pertain to both having someone to support you and being there to support someone. It’s meaning spews in a million directions, but always leads to the same destination, just as in actual life. That is what I wanted to potray through the simple music video.”
