Mitch Ryan was born in Sydney, Australia in 1987, and moved with his family to Brisbane in Queensland at age 4 where he completed all of his schooling. Although a talented voiceover artist, he has always had a passion for acting having gained his first main exposure in the Australian primetime television drama series “City Homicide” in 2007.
Mitch co-starred as Garland in the award winning Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks HBO miniseries, “The Pacific” in 2008. Upon the completion of “The Pacific” Mitch relocated to Los Angeles, and soon after landed the role of Alexander Coyne in the CW network’s “One Tree Hill” television series.
His other credits include Luke Coburn in ABC television’s “The Lying Game” in 2010, alongside Eric Roberts in the 2010 independent film “Groupie” and a guest-starring role on CBS’s “The Mentalist.” He also starred in the feature film “Cabin Fever – Patient Zero” in 2014 and in the thriller “Missionary.”
Always in demand Mitch most recently guest-starred in the TNT series “Major Crimes” as well as the TV movie “How Not to Propose”. One of the most demanding roles that Mitch has had to tackle was as Alex in “Manny Dearest” that will premiere on April 29 on Lifetime.
